Take a Vacation to ...Antigua

Viva Antigua by Essie

We are getting close to the end of our nail polish blogs, but this week we have a name that will let us take an imaginary vacation to a tropical and relaxing place, Antigua!

I never thought much about Antigua before until I looked it up after seeing this Essie polish name. It looks like a tropical island paradise; a place to seriously consider going one day. We thought that we would “take” a virtual by sharing with you some information, hot spots, hotels, and some cool pictures of all to do with Antigua and then maybe one day you can take a real vacation to Antigua.

Cool Facts:

Antigua is an island in the West Indies.
It’s also known as Waladli.
It’s flag looks like this...

The Antiguan Racer which is a snake, is one of the rarest snakes in the world.

Antigua has a sailing week at the end of April and beginning of May. It is known as a famous yachting and sailing destination.

Over 32,000 people live in the capital, St.John’s; it has a deep harbour for all of the large cruise ships that visit.

80,161 people live in Antigua.

It became an independent state within the Commonwealth of Nations on November 1, 1981.
