We have a
bride to be here at Paperwhite Creations. Yes, our very own Nicole is going to
get married this Spring and we are going to blog about it! She is doing a lot
of DIY projects and we are going to makes tutorials as we create things for her
wedding. First up is the start of the dress and then next week...the super
important invitations!
Today was a
very exciting day. She went and picked out fabric for her wedding dress. We
went wedding dress shopping a few weeks ago and she tried on some really pretty
dresses and almost said yes to one dress but it was missing something very
important to her, a train, so she asked a friend of the family to help her out
in creating her dream dress. She has come up with some ideas to help guide the
seamstress, like the neckline will be the Audrey Hepburn Sabrina neckline which the
dress that she liked at the bridal boutique had. It’s also going to have
beading and sequins on the bodice similar to the other dress too and it will have
pockets, the all-important train, and a gorgeous flower and beaded belt that is
going to be custom made for her by one of the bridal consultants that we met
along the way. So today we are sharing with you a little sneak peek at this
custom made dress by showing you the fabric that she picked out. I can't believe
all of this fabric is going to be a real life wedding dress!
