“Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, (ring-a-ling) hear them ring (ting-a-ling)
Soon it will be Christmas day”

Our song pick this week is “Silver Bells” and we are making a silver
bells themed wreath for Nicole’s front door. We went to the craft store and
bought some silver and red embellishments along with an artificial wreath and
now we are going to put it all together and see what we come up with.
Here is what we decided to use...
Big thick red ribbon, skinner metallic silver ribbon, pine cones (2
types), artificial plastic cranberries, hot glue, wire, big silver bells,
little bells, wire cutters, and scissors. And you’ll need a wreath of course!
First off Nicole shaped the wreath. We chose a 24 inch wreath but you
can pick whatever size that you would like. We felt it best and easiest to lay
out all of the embellishments on the wreath to make it look like how we wanted
first before we went to town and started attaching everything.
Next she made a big red bow. She made a big loop and glued it with hot
glue and then wrapped some wire around the center to shape a bow. Around the
wire she wrapped a small piece of ribbon and glued it. Lastly she attached the
tail to the back of the center of the bow.
Then she took apart some of the cranberries. She made smaller bunches so that they can be nicely strewn throughout the wreath.
After all of the prep, she began attaching everything...
She attached the silver bells together so they would hang nicely under
the bow.
Then she wrapped some of that metallic silver ribbon all around the
wreath.
Finally she attached that big red bow with some wire at the top of the
wreath.
Now it hangs on her front door to be displayed to all of her neighbors
and people who pass by.
