Gifts for Friends

Up this week for gifts are friends. The gifts this week are inspired by our red and green present border card. Over the past couple of years we have revamped this card slightly but it’s one of our keepers that we really like to make; we also have a birthdays cards with a similar design. 

I find that friends are the most fun and enjoyable people to buy gifts for. If you’re buying for close/best friends it’s super easy to find something because you know them so well. Nicole is chiming in this week and helping me pick out a few gifts for friends.

Pet Gifts

Alrighty, so I figured out my perfect Christmas blog idea as you know and this week it begins! For the next five weeks until Christmas we’re going to give some gift ideas based on our homemade Christmas cards. We’ll match up one of our Christmas cards (picked randomly) with someone to give it to (also randomly picked). The gifts we choose will match our handmade card that we have picked for the week. 

First up (out of my fancy brown paper bags), I drew Pets and our Dark Green Penguin card. 

Pets are so much fun to find Christmas gifts for because they love whatever you get for them. They are a part of the family just as much as anyone else, so I think they deserve a present Christmas morning and I think lots of other people agree with me. I have three pet birdies, two are budgies and one is a canary. They each have their own homemade Christmas name ornament hanging in the Christmas tree and they have a joint stocking (since bird presents are tiny, haha). Check out these ornaments that you can paint and personalize for your pets as well as these stockings for your pets. 

I have one like the angel for some of my pets, but any ornament will do as long as it has a flat surface for writing your pets name on.
