Gingerbread Houses, Teddy Bears, and Christmas Trees

“On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: twelve Drummers Drumming, eleven Pipers Piping, ten Lords a Leaping, nine Ladies Dancing, eight Maids a Milking, seven Swans a Swimming, six Geese a Laying, five Golden Rings, four Calling Birds, three French Hens, two Turtle Doves, and a Partridge in Pear Tree.” – Frederic Austin
This week is our last week of the “Twelve Weeks of Christmas.” The holiday season is officially coming to an end; everybody is heading back to school and to work and things are getting back to normal.

For our final week of Christmas we thought that we would share with you sort of a holiday friendship tradition of ours. For the past few years we have been going to look at the Gingerbread Houses, Teddy Bears, and Christmas Trees that were decorated by local businesses and organizations all for charity. All of these beautifully decorated creations were located at hotels in our Inner Harbour. People were able to vote for their favourites or they could have just admired them from afar.

Enjoy this last little bit of Christmas!
